The weather has turned in one day! I am stupidly unprepared thinking this Indian Summer would last forever, now I have realised that is October and getting cold.... don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about the weather as I love autumn... I just don't love the fact I'm the idiot prancing around at pre-school pick up in the 1950's summer dress and heels (with no tights), with some flimsy cardigan to keep me warm, while shouting "Oh how unseasonably mild it is at the moment", all the while resembling a plucked chicken due to extreme cold and goosebumps. So time to start raiding the wardrobe for some fall fashion I think! Great thing about opening the shop is that I have a daily chance to go window shopping without feeling to bad about it as I have to go on line anyway (I can always claim it's in the name of research rather than self-indulgent shopping!!!)
I found some gorgeous 1960's brown day gloves in town today which I will be adding to the shop soon, but am very tempted to keep as they feel so nice and perhaps may save me from frostbite! New skirt added today- could be great early autumn office wear as is lighter fabric but more autumnal colours so easy wearing in this season.
And finally whiel I'm still getting to grips on Etsy I created another treasury yesterday inspired by Michael Faber's "The Crimson Petal and The White" , including some atmospheric Victorian items.
NB-I have noticed annoyingly British theme in my posts- a tendency to bang on about the weather!!! I do apologise I will try and control myself!!!
