It's as if the holidays never were!

So its only five days into 2012 and I don't know about you but it feels like Christmas never happened- the tree came down on Monday, simon was back to work Tuesday and Izzy back to pre-school yesterday.  On the plus side the week has flown by and now its nearly the weekend, roll on that bottle of Chablis, a gingerbread latte in town and roast dinner... not all at once but preferably in that order!

This week Lesley's Girls got together whilst the children were creating havoc over the newly tidied house following the general chaotic mess of the Christmas season; however we did manage to discuss the stocking of Lesley's Girls Upcycled and have arranged a meeting (*read drink in the local wine bar) next Friday evening to work out the specifics.  Those of you who follow us on Facebook will also know we discussed our Spring collection... and bizarrely next Christmas (never too early to plan!)

No new clothing added this week to the shop, but plenty of new original vintage patterns for those craft lovers out there (a few examples above). We never intended to have so many knitting or sewing patterns but somehow we both seem to just acquire them... must be the influence of our mother and our grandmother (although in Susannah's case she could actually create the patterns she finds whereas I just look longingly and wish i was a bit more crafty!!)

Looking forward to the next post when hoepfully we will be able to share the fact new stock has been added to the shop... weather/light permitting for the photo shoot though!

PS- for those who are interested the annual Trivial Pursuit match at our Aunt and Uncle's house did take place... but I'm much too polite to say who won this year ;-)
