Still trying to persuade Simon a 1950s tea party is the way forward this June! So while we were on the subject of Jubilee parties, thought we'd share a couple of our royal vintage collectibles and one of our delightful dresses just right for a summer garden party. Enjoy....

ReplyDeleteWe love this! Great collectables too :D
ReplyDeleteJust discovered your blog and loving the Jubilee action!
We just created our very own biscuit ornaments to celebrate the big day:

Hooray for Britishness :D
@Vivid - Glad you enjoyed! Those biscuit ornaments are amazing- but I would just get hungry every time I looked at them ;-, they are scarily realistic! I have managed to persuade my husband should have a jubilee tea party, and I am also doing one the Friday before at the local play group I run so expect more jubilee action here... I am not a huge crazy royalist but I just love an excuse for a party- and all the better if I can give it a bit of British vintage feel!
ReplyDelete@lola- thanks! Love vintage fine china- have a huge stack of it in our store room that I am considering hiring out for events....
