My 1940s cocktail books can finally come out of the cupboard- it's the opportunity I have been waiting for! It's my good friend Chantal's 30th birthday this week, she shares her birthday with her husband Adam, at The Page, although it's a less momentous age for Adam this year as he turned 30 a couple of years ago! They are having a party at their house, and we have been told the theme is all things homemade- I can't wait, should be a fantastic night.
So apart from some homemade chocolate fudge we will be dragging along with us a creation from one of the cocktail books- the question is which to go for... the Planters Punch or the Champagne Cup or one of the many other alcoholic delights. Oh well, I guess I will have to try them all before the weekend... it's a hard life.
