For the vintage seamstress in you here are a small handful of our favourite patterns in the shop now. Susannah's advice for those budding seamstresses out there is to be confident on sizes and the general fit then you should never be afraid to cut (confidence is the key it seems!). She also suggested taking a little extra time to make a toile garment (a test version) in comparable - but cheap/throwaway - fabric to save future frustrations- then you can make any adjustments necessary before you start cutting out on your expensive dream dress fabric and potentially regretting it.
