You may remember we blogged about The Secret Vintage Fair recently, and our contributions to their prizedraw, well the secret is out! We had the press release through yesterday (and it has frankly been killing me not to shout about where it is!), and the location is... (drum roll please)..... Belle Vue Social Club, 1 Colne Bank Avenue, CO1 1UU. It was revealed last night at the Understar Open-air Cinema night at the Minories (we were gutted to miss it). It opened it's doors in 1927 when flappers and Bright Young Things were in vogue so should be perfect.

Brain child of the Secret Vintage Fair's Lucy Craymer – who also runs vintage venture "Lullabelle’s Treasure" – said "Vintage has never been so in demand and having had a stall at several fairs across the country myself selling vintage art prints, I wanted to try and maximize the fun, footfall and quality of exhibitors, all under one roof, but with a secret location twist! At the Secret Vintage Fair, you can look forward to a diverse range of vintage, retro, up-cycled and handmade goods, such as clothing, jewellery, accessories, furniture, kitchenalia and other homewares, plus a delicious selection of edible treats to relax and revive you after all that shopping!". Based on the incredibly positive response in the social media it should be a busy and fun day, and we are certainly looking forward to it.
Door open at 10.30 until 17.00, £1 per person entry, and free for accompanying children under 10.
