Yesterday was The Secret Vintage Fair and it was quite simply one of the best days I have ever had! I am too tired to do a blog post on the whole of the fair... that will follow at some point I promise. Instead, I thought I would share our photo booth fun I had with honorary Lesley's Girls member Mel and Simon, our stock photographer (and my husband - obviously based on one of the poses!). I haven't been in a photo booth liek this since my early teens so it was so exciting to see it in action again.
Mel spent the day manning the Lesley's Girls stall- she even set it up first thing with the help of Simon and Lorna - one of our valued customers and friends. Mel did an amazing job, and after 20 years of friendship I am still astounded at her kind generous nature, and yesterday she just showed me again how lucky I am to be blessed with such a wonderful friend.
Next stop in to the photo booth with Simon, my husband, it was a change for him to be in front of the camera instead of behind it.
The other person I would have loved to get some snaps of in the photo booth with was the other half of Lesley's Girls- Susannah. She has been so brilliant this weekend- taking our two children for the day so we could focus on the fair, but we missed her presence there (as well as the children)... next time Retro-Me photo booths are in town Susannah and I will certainly be heading there!

Aw, lovely photos Janine!
ReplyDeleteIt was such an amazing day, just sad I couldn't put up a "gone to lunch" sign, to sneak off and have a proper scout round!!!
Looking forward to seeing more photos of the day.
Thanks so much for having us along!
