Movember

We have been racking our brains as to how we (as ladies somewhat lacking in facial hair department) can support Movember when we can't grow a Mo.... solution- let the mannequins do the job for us, at the same time support the local chaps who are growing their mo's.

Movember is an annual event where chaps grow their moustaches throughout the world- raising funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health. It is an independent global charity, and it's vision is to have an lasting impact on the face of men’s health.  Here at Lesley's Girls we want to do our bit to help achieve that aim.

Throughout November, sorry Movember, Maureen (or to use her shortened name Mo) the Mannequin will be sporting a Mo in the shop.  We have also joined The Secret Vintage Fair Movember team, and are raising money through sponsorship of our Mo-mannequins.  So please give generously to this worthy cause, and look out for Mo the Mannequin's Mo updates on Facebook and Twitter.  If you are a local Mo-brother or have a follower of the blog taking part in Movember let us know and we'll give you a tweet and a share on Facebook.
