We had a Audrey Hepburn inspired display this week... what started from a dress which reminded us of her iconic look in Breakfast at Tiffany's rapidly descended into our procrastinating form daily admin into googling Audrey Hepburn images, all in the name of research of course. And we couldn't resist sharing these two images. First the classic and beautiful posed iconic image of Hepburn below in simple elegant black sweater and cigarette pants.
Followed by perhaps a less familiar image. Although clearly the iconic artfully posed and arranged images will be there forever, it would be lovely if images like this one were to be seen more often- a clearly beautiful lady pulling a patently silly face. Although possibly this image wouldn't be your choice of pose for a wedding portrait, this picture is my preference by far showing an entirely spontaneous and possibly a more real and human side to the legend of the silver screen.

Whatever look you choose to don this coming weekend- if you take inspiration for on screen legends, or your own off screen personal heroes make sure you do it with a smile and sincerity. And remember, as the lady herself said "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."
