In the Peak District last month we went to visit Derby, in the town museum there was an exhibition which brought to mind the recent exhibition "Use" in the Minories, and we loved it just as much. It featured collections of everyday items... our favourite being the perfumes, which reminded us of our namesake, Lesley, who used to wear Chanel Number 5. But the glasses were also something of beauty. There is something about seeing objects of identical use but differing design which is fascinating to view.
And whilst we are on the subject if the Minories pop by and see their new exhibition opening this weekend...
