As a Colchester business and in fact Colchester girls born and bred, we are proud of our home town. There have been times when we wish that the town was more or better, or different, or even as teenagers head in hands we wished we could run away to London. But now we love it here and couldn't imagine being anywhere else. So when new things arrive in our town, or changes happen or when something is brought designed to showcase the best of our little home town we are always very excited!
This September sees the launch of Colchester Life website. A new website with the towns independent shop, cafes, bars and experiences at its heart, aimed at all ages and all walks of life. The website is not just a directory. It not only has a guide to all the small and quirky shops, cafes and bars Colchester has to offer. With a calendar revealing exclusive flash sales, secret gigs, one off markets and live art pieces. There is also a blog sharig the best of Colchester. We have managed to get a little sneaky peek of what's coming and it looks amazing!
On top of that it offers customers, residents and visitors of Colchester the chance to get exclusive deals and offers from the Independents themselves with the Colchester Life card. The reward card supporting the Indies of Colchester costs just £5 for the year and various independent traders of Colchester have given loyalty card holders exclusive discounts (including us!), more info to come soon. This is a great not for profit website where all proceeds go back to support and promote the Independents Colchester has to offer, and we are thrilled to be listed on it!
Launch Party
This Saturday sees the launch event at The Waiting Room promoting this amazing website. We will be there with GO4 Market Cafe at their stand. Plus there will be music all day, workshops, lots more stalls, cake, coffee and a bar! Should be a fantastic day and we are hugely looking forward to it.
