The Patone® Fashion Colour Report for Spring 2015 (released last September) brings some interesting colours forward for this season. And although I am a great believer in following your heart, what suits you and your personal tastes, rather than necessarily being led by what fashion tells you are the "in" colours, it is a great colour resource and can open your mind to new colours and colour combinations. It is also nice if you are a vintage lover, as they can bring some clothing which was once considered out of fashion back to life again as it falls in to the season's desirable palette, and that is one of the reasons we love vintage- bringing life and love back to the unloved.
The colour palette released for the spring is based on muted colours that look less like they have been artificially manufactured, they are "soft, cool hues blend with subtle warm tones to create a soothing escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.” (Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Colour institute®)
